The LocalBiz Project
The LocalBiz Project is a flexible collection of Enterprise and Work-related Learning activities, which engage the students in the running of a community website. It provides a unique blend of Social and Business Enterprise and the development of key skills.
The activities involve research, communication and the use of ICT in business. Students must also work as a team, and make decisions as they collect information about local businesses, along with news stories and events happening within the community.

| The teaching support material has been carefully designed, is very flexible, and includes the ready-made and easy-to-use website. The evidence generated can be used to support a wide variety of accredited qualifications. It meets over half of the WRL requirements and makes a large contribution to Enterprise learning. |
